We at Big Horse Tack understand the need to try a saddle on your horse to verify proper fit and to ride in the saddle to determine comfort and correctness. You are invited to ride in our trial saddles before you order to assure that the fit and feel are correct. We have a growing stock of test ride saddles available.

To order your test ride, please contact us to order your test ride using the form below. Be sure to include what saddle you want to try out.

To allow this accommodation, it is important to us that you assume responsibility for the saddles condition and safe-keeping:

• We need to take a credit card authorization for the full amount of the saddle(s) that you are taking out for trial. This will secure the funds on your card and affect your available credit limit. This however will not show up on your monthly statement unless you do not return the saddles at the end of your trial period or you return the saddle in a damaged state.
• The customer is responsible for insured shipping charges to and from Big Horse Tack. Shipping is not refundable.
• The customer has 5 days upon receipt of the saddle to try out the saddle.
• The customers account will be charged if the saddle is not returned in the time specified (5 days plus shipping time).
• The customers account will be charged if the saddle is returned in a badly damaged state.
• We ask that you protect the saddle from damage while trying it out by using a clean white saddle pad and wrapping your stirrup leathers with tube socks or another soft material (Please NO Vet Wrap!) Please do not put leathers through the keepers - contain them within the tube sock).
• Wear short riding boots(no chaps or 1/2 chaps).
